| Team Turtle unofficially began in 2000 with five members to celebrate my one year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor - Lisa, Charlie (Lisa’s mom), Lori (Lisa’s sister-in-law), Linda & Stephanie. We have participated every year since then as Team Turtle – Slow and Steady Finishes the Race. In 2006 we raised over $17,000 to come in 3rd place in the Friends & Family Division and also finished in the top 10 for ALL teams (out of over 400 teams). We hope to beat our $15,000 goal in 2007 (donations being accepted until October 19th) |
